Step one:
# Start with a large black canvas. Make a new layer set titled Futuristic War Logo v5.
# Choose the polygon tool and set the sides to 3px with anti-alaised checked.
# In a new layer draw a white polygon. (width: 127 x height: 130)
# Cut the left side of the polygon.
# Add the following layer styles: Inner Shadow, Gradient Overlay, Satin
Step two:
# Duplicate the polygon from step one. Make a new layer and merge it with the duplicate polygon.
# Flip the duplicate and connect with the original.
Step three:
# Add the following layer styles: Inner Shadow, Inner Glow, Satin, Pattern Overlay, Stroke.
Step four:
# In a new layer draw a white eclipse using the eclipse tool. (width: 82 x height: 37)
# Add the following layer styles: Inner Glow, Gradient Overlay, Stroke.
# Set layer’s blending mode to Darken.
Step five:
# Now choose the polygon tool and set sides to 3 and anti-aliased checked.
# In a new layer draw a #18326F. polygon. (width: 78 x height: 78)
# Add the following layer styles: Inner Shadow, Inner Glow, Pattern Overlay, Gradient Overlay, Stroke.
Step six:
# In a new layer draw a black circle using the eclipse tool. (width: 53 x height: 53)
# Add the following layer styles: Inner Glow, Stroke.
# Set layer’s blending mode to Lighten.
Step seven:
# In a new layer draw a black circle using the eclipse tool. (width: 30 x height: 30)
# Add the following layer styles: Outer Glow, Gradient Overlay, Stroke.
Step eight:
# Select the polygon tool and draw a white small polygon facing right. (width: 18 x height: 18)
# Add the following layer styles: Inner Shadow, Gradient Overlay.
# Set layer’s blending mode to Darken.
Step nine:
# Duplicate the polygon layer from step eight and make a new layer. Merge both the duplicate and the blank new layer together so your layer-styles become permanent with the layer.
# Rotate the duplicate and position on the opposite side of the structure.
Step ten:
# Add more spikes on the structure with different sizing and rotations.
Step eleven:
# Select eliptical marquee tool and select the middle circle.
# Copy and paste the marquee selected circle into your canvas.
# Resize the circle by 50%.
# Duplicate the circle structure four times and position them as shown on the picture guide. Finish it off by Merging all duplicated layers with the original circle layer.
Step twelve:
# Make a copy of the circle layer which should now include 4 circles stacked to one another.
Step thirteen:
# Make another duplicate of the 4 stacked circle layer.
# Resize by 25%.
# Go to Filter > Sharpen > Sharpen More.
# Make a copy of this last circle and position on the opposite side of the logo structure.
Final:
# Futuristic War Logo 5.
